Packaging outlives the page it points to
A print run of boxes or labels is expensive and slow to change, while the product story, how-to guide, or reorder link behind the code keeps evolving. A dynamic code decouples the two, so you update the destination without a new print run.
What DirQR covers, and what it doesn't
DirQR is built for a single editable link per code: product information, a how-to video, a care guide, or a reorder page. It does not generate a unique code per physical unit, so it is not the tool for per-item serialization or anti-counterfeit authentication, which need a different, per-unit system.
No ad between the shopper and the info
A shopper scanning a package for ingredients or instructions should land on your page immediately. DirQR redirects with no interstitial ad, and the free code is not switched off when a trial ends.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I update a packaging QR code after the boxes are printed?
- Yes, with a dynamic code. The printed code stays fixed while you change the destination, so packaging can point at current product info or a new campaign without reprinting.
- Can DirQR put a unique code on every product unit?
- No. DirQR makes one editable code per QR, which suits a shared product page. Per-unit unique codes for anti-counterfeit or serialization require a different system.
